LOUIS P. SOLOMON, a resident of Bethesda, Maryland, has over 40 years experience in program and financial management & business development, and systems engineering. He earned his Masters degree from MIT and his Ph.D. from UCLA. He has worked in industry, U.S. Government research & develop-ment, and academia. Solomon has published both fiction and non-fiction books, as well as many scientific and technical articles. He occasionally writes a blog, "Wisdom of Solomon." He is also president of LifeECHOES, a publishing company for family legacy books.
LINDA H. JENKINS, a resident of Picayune, Mississippi, has 35+ years experience as a technical editor, a writer, a school and a government librarian, and a document specialist. Areas of expertise are fiction, non-fiction, medical, and both earth and physical sciences. She directed the Publications Section and a restricted government scientific and technical research library at the Stennis Space Center in Mississippi. Jenkins wrote style and writing guides for research organizations, worked as a public school librarian, and as a research analyst for a major contractor. She designs, edits, and produces paper, hard cover, and eBooks for Pearl River Publishing.
The late DICK VAN ORDEN served his country for 34 years in the U.S. Navy. A WWII veteran, he advanced to the rank of Rear Admiral. He was appointed as the the U.S. Navy's Chief of Naval Research and Deputy Oceanogra-pher of the Navy. He was an advisor to the Secretary of the Navy and the Chief of Naval Operations on all scientific matters. Van Orden's first published novel was The Hinden-burg Enigma, published by Pearl River Publishing. He also wrote and published many scientific papers and four books for the U.S. Navy about Navy and Coast Guard ships.
