Pearl River Publishing will deliver an agreed-upon number of titles to you, the Book Dealer. We will help arrange for publicity material, as well as organize book signings, readings, presentations, and other similar occasions. After a pre-arranged time, we will pick up the unsold books and find out how many books were sold. After we’ve picked up the books, you’ll be invoiced (based upon the agreed upon price) for the sold items.
We are here to help you get the titles you want, at a minimum of expense, and provide you, the retailer, with the marketing resources you need to be competitive in today’s market.
We currently are dealing with over 125 authors, and have arranged a major book signing of 19 participating authors at a local chain bookstore.
If you are interested in acquiring Pearl River Publishing titles, contact Louis Solomon. In the future, we expect to put an order form online, where you can select your titles and have them delivered with minimal effort.
The price charged to all book dealers by PRP is 75% of the listed retail price, but special pricing is available to book dealers under certain conditions. Please contact us for details.
Pearl River Publishing will serve as a distributor for all of its authors who participate in its program. We will deliver the books to book dealers and pick up the books that are unsold and returned. We will periodically invoice the book dealer for the amount received from the books sold to date of invoice and then disburse those funds to the author.
In addition, as desired by the book dealer, we will arrange to have the author participate in book signings, readings, or other activities that will assist the book dealer in selling the books of the Pearl River Publishing author.
Other services may be provided based upon mutual agreement among the book dealer, Pearl River Publishing, and the author.
