Note: For formatting prices, we use the number of single-spaced pages in 12-point type rather than word count. The final digital version of the manuscript will be in Portable Document Format (PDF) which is required by virtually all printers.

Cover Design $300-$450
We have several talented cover designers. The cost for a design will vary, depending upon your requirements. You are not required to have a cover designed. You might prefer only the title on a plain one-color cover for your book. We feel sure, though, that you will be pleased with our covers.
ISBN $150
We obtain your ISBN and Library of Congress numbers and generate a barcode for placement on the back cover of your book.
List Book with Internet Sites $150
We will, if desired, list your book with Amazon, Borders, Barnes & Noble, and other appropriate web sites. Book dealers carry only those books with an ISBN. Some charges are associated with this, in addition to our charges in providing the information and setting up your accounts with them. The charges are different for each organization.
Website Establishment Varies
If you agree to have our printer print your book, they will establish a web site for you where your books can be sold. They will handle all the orders, send out the books (and CDs, if you wish), and then pay you the net amount. Of course, you’re free to establish your own web site and manage all the issues that arise in dealing with customers on the web.
Book Printing Varies
A standard paperback book (8.5” x 5.5”) averages 250 pages (printed on both sides of the page). Your total printing cost is heavily based upon the number of pages in your book and the number of books ordered. The number of pages in your book will depend on your choice of fonts and layouts. Additional costs will depend on your choice of paper quality, hard or soft cover, or variations from the standard size. Costs for printing your book will be proposed to you based upon your requirements for the final printed book and the number of books you order. You may have as many or as few books printed as you want. If you use a printer other than Pearl River Publishing, we will provide you with the electronic files that any printer will require to print your book
Pricing Your Book Varies
You will have to choose the retail price of your book. All sales to book dealers are based upon this amount. We suggest that you charge a fair and reasonable amount for your book. Compare your book to others of that genre and then decide on the price. This decision is entirely yours.
