DR. LOUIS P. SOLOMON, President and founder of Pearl River Publishing, has over 35 years’ experience in program management, business development, financial management, and systems engineering. During this time he worked within industry, the U.S. Government, and academia. He has published four books, three fiction and one nonfiction, as well as over 200 technical and scientific articles. Dr. Solomon is also the CEO and founder of LCG a unique management consulting firm. The firm comprises people skilled in virtually every aspect of business planning and operations, and experienced in technical, financial, and administrative problem solving.

REAR ADMIRAL M. DICK VAN ORDEN (Ret.), Vice-President of PRP, has 34 years of U.S. Navy service, specializing in basic research and in research and development. He is a former Chief of Naval Research and Deputy Oceanographer of the Navy. He also served as advisor to the Secretary of the Navy and the Chief of Naval Operations. He has published many scientific papers and four books on Navy ships. He wrote the first children’s book on the Coast Guard and Navy vessels.

LINDA H. JENKINS, Vice President of PRP, has nearly 31 years’ experience as an editor and a writer. Her specialties are fiction, nonfiction, medical, and earth/physical sciences. She directed the Publications Section and the Classified Library for the Naval Research Laboratory at Stennis Space Center in Mississippi. She also managed NRLSSC’s Technology Transfer Program for several years. She coauthored three books with Dr. Solomon and has written both style manuals and writing guides for several organizations. She worked 9 years as a public school librarian and recently returned to the private sector as a research analyst for a major government contractor.

SCOTT A. MOHNKERN has over 20 years’ experience in the information technology, Legal, and magazine industries. He served as president of Millkern Communications, one of the 10 largest Internet Service Providers in the Washington, D.C., Metropolitan area. He also worked for the law firm of Kirkland and Ellis, and has published over a dozen articles in various technical and legal publications including the California Bar Journal, The Transportation Law Journal, The Water Court Reporter and The Monitor. In addition he has held executive-level positions for various non-profit organizations, including being President of the Capital PC User Group for two years. He currently serves as a System Administrator for the National Weather Service. He acts as Webmaster, technical advisor, and administrative advisor to Pearl River Publishing.
